Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients

Duties:

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation standards
• Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products
• Upsell hair care products and services to enhance the client experience
• Handle front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries
• Foster strong communication with clients to build lasting relationships and ensure repeat business

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hair styling with a valid cosmetology license
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for clients
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in the salon environment
• Ability to effectively upsell products and services while maintaining client satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
• Experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to manage front desk tasks efficiently while multitasking in a busy salon environment

Pay: $20 per hour + commission structure

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
