We are currenty seeking models with long hair for our new learner apprentice stylist. Basic trims & cuts with or without simple layering, face framing/bangs/fringe. Hair must be below shoulder length and will remain below shoulder length. Located in downtown Ottawa, close to the Rideau Center, The Market and uOttawa, The Cutting Shack offers a great opportunity for a hair stylist who enjoys and excels at providing an excellent customer experience.
Attributes & Skills we're looking for:
- licensed with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of hairstyling experience with the skill set to compliment and continue to provide high quality services for our existing and continually growing clientel
- a professional stylist who is proficient and confident in providing
- excellent customer service
- excellent consultation and communication skills
- competent in cutting and styling services for all genders with various hair lengths & textures utilizing professional tools of the trade
- competent in colour services and knowledge including balayage, hi & lo Lights, full & regrowth applications including lightening/bleaching, toning, colour correction and custom colour
- competent in updo's and special occassion hair styling
- competent in suggesting and making recommendations for suitable salon services
- competent in advising and making recommendations on home hair care maintenance products
- responsibility, drive, motivation, adaptability and able to take initiative
